Open House Event at Karwan

On the 4th of August a nice barbecue, Higher Education Institute of Karwan hosted an open house event to enhance the communication between teachers, students and the professional that were invited. The key speaker of the event was Mr. Khan Jan Alkozai, from the Chamber of Commerce of Afghanistan, who is leading man in private sector and around 200 students and guest were there for the evening.

Mr. Khan Jan Alkozai said: You students have very important role in the development of our country and we are watching new generation performance. He called previous years that students played important role for the freedom of the country and he talked about what we lost and need rehabilitation. He called students, now it is time to work hard and have a strong vision for future. He talked about the job opportunities in the private and public sector. 

He said that Javed founder of Karwan is the president of Higher Education Committee at the Chamber of Commerce and he works closely with chamber to contribute to in Afghanistan development. He was happy to see that many people came and welcomed Alkozai, he really wants to know more about private universities.

Mahjoor chancellor talked about the recent achievements of Karwan, including its partnership with the students organization AIESEC, the new website, the newsletter and the debate club that improve relationships with other private universities.

After Chancellor talking, a short presentation of the website has been made, recalling that Karwan website is one of the more modern website of the private universities. It has been said that we do need this website to be the more transparent as possible and people have information about us.  

Then an AIESEC Afghanistan member came to explain to all the present guests what the organization is and that it can bring a positive change in the life of those Karwan students who would like to join. Many of them were very interested in joining the organization.

As well, Newsletters were available for all to discover our new tool of transparency. A huge cake has been made to celebrate the event, the website and the newsletter, and everyone ate it with the delicious barbecue that was organized in Karwan green area.

Karwan will continue to organize such events to help our students to communicate, learn and have knowledge.
